Director – Taxation
Job Summary:
The Director of Taxation will play a pivotal role in overseeing all taxation
functions across the BC Jindal Group. This strategic position is responsible
for forming and executing tax strategies that foster compliance while
optimizing tax liabilities, ultimately contributing to the financial health of
the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement tax strategies aligning with the organization's goals,
ensuring compliance with all local, state, and international tax
regulations.

Oversee and manage both direct and indirect taxation processes, guaranteeing
accurate and timely reporting and payment of taxes.

Lead a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and
facilitating professional development.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and legal, to
assess potential tax implications of business activities and decisions.

Conduct regular tax research and leverage insights to advise senior
management on tax planning and risk management opportunities.

Engage with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance and
address any tax-related queries.

Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the
organization, implementing necessary changes to remain compliant.
Requirements:

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 15 years of experience
in direct and indirect taxation.

Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws and regulations, as well as
international tax practices.

Proven experience in tax planning, compliance, and reporting in a corporate
environment.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to
detail.

Ability to communicate complex tax issues clearly to non-tax professionals
within the organization.
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in tax compliance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in handling tax matters on a group level or in a multinational
corporation.
- Expertise in transfer pricing and international taxation issues.
- Prior experience in strategic tax planning and risk management.

Certifications or additional qualifications in tax law or taxation practices
are advantageous.
