Job Description
Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer / Technical Lead with 8+ years of Salesforce experience and strong hands-on expertise across Financial Services Cloud (FSC) and Sales Cloud.

The role will be responsible for configuring, developing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions, with a strong focus on scalable platform design, Apex and Lightning development, workflow automation, reporting, dashboards, testing, user administration, and overall platform governance.

The successful candidate should be capable of translating business requirements into robust Salesforce solutions, guiding junior developers, and ensuring that implementations follow Salesforce development and configuration best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Configuration & Platform Management

• Implement Salesforce solutions across Financial Services Cloud and Sales Cloud.
• Configure and enhance Salesforce UI, including page layouts, Lightning record pages, dynamic forms, fields, and related platform configurations.
• Configure and maintain standard workflows and business process automation using appropriate Salesforce capabilities.
• Support sales pipeline management, opportunity processes, lead management, and other Sales Cloud processes.
• Configure FSC capabilities to support financial services business processes.
• Evaluate requirements and determine the appropriate balance between configuration and custom development.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with platform standards.

Apex & Lightning Development

• Design and develop custom functionality using Apex, including triggers, classes, asynchronous processing, and reusable components where required.
• Develop and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC) and other Lightning components.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Troubleshoot complex application, configuration, and performance issues.
• Provide technical guidance to developers for clearly defined development requirements.

Reports & Dashboards

• Design and configure Salesforce reports and dashboards based on business and management requirements.
• Create meaningful reporting structures for pipeline, customer, sales, and operational metrics.
• Work with business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into Salesforce solutions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Salesforce experience, with strong development and configuration experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
• Strong experience with Sales Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of Apex, SOQL/SOSL and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Experience with Salesforce declarative configuration and automation.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security, sharing, roles, profiles, and permission sets.
• Hands-on experience creating reports and dashboards.
• Experience with Apex testing and test automation.
• Experience with Salesforce user administration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to translate functional/business requirements into Salesforce technical solutions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with business, functional, and technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations and APIs.
• Experience working with CI/CD and Salesforce deployment processes.
• Prior experience in banking, insurance, wealth management, lending, or other financial services domains.
• Experience mentoring or technically leading Salesforce development teams.
