Sitecore Developer

As a Sitecore Developer, your primary responsibility is to manage and maintain the Sitecore environment. This involves configuring Sitecore and designing, coding, optimizing custom solutions to meet business needs, ensuring data integrity/quality, and optimizing system performance. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Sitecore with other applications and enhance system functionality. Security and compliance are critical, so you’ll configure access controls, monitor for threats, and enforce best practices. Accurate documentation and staying informed about Sitecore features and trends are essential for success.

Technical and Personal Skills

3+ years’ experience as a Sitecore Developer
1+ years’ in-depth and hands on experience with Sitecore XP 10.x / XM 10.x development
Experience with Helix Architecture principles and Sitecore SXA.
Demonstrated experience with web development using C#, .NET, MVC, WCF and current Javascript frameworks
Strong experience implementing Web Services using SOAP or REST, as well as using existing Web Services
Familiarity with MS SQL Server used in Sitecore environments
Strong understanding of integration concepts and experience in developing integrations between Sitecore and third-party platform APIs
Strong experience working in a DevSecOps environment utilizing Git and CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, Bamboo
Strong understanding of Sitecore best practices and functionality
Strong debugging and problem solving skills
Demonstrated exceptional customer service, verbal/written communication and collaboration skills with a variety of stakeholders with varying technical expertise
Experience working independently and proactively whilst demonstrating impeccable risk identification/mitigation and time management skills
Proven ability to write quality, fit-for-purpose documentation including, but not limited to KB articles, technical designs, release notes.

Sitecore Developer certifications highly regarded
Experience in configure, implement and optimize Solr in Sitecore solutions will be highly regarded
Experience with Sitecore OrderCloud will be highly regarded
Experience with XM Cloud will be highly regarded
Team Development for Sitecore experience is preferred
Knowledge of microservices architecture and API strategy development
Experience working in scaled agile framework (SAFe) environments.
Experience working with collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
Experience with cloud services like Azure or AWS
Knowledge of Sitecore JSS, headless CMS, and GraphQL
Strong experience with HTML, Bootstrap, Next.js, JQuery and AJAX
