Job Description – Project Manager (Solar & Wind)

Responsibilities

Lead the planning and development phases of Utility scale projects including assessments, feasibility studies and resource planning

Collaborate with cross functional teams to define project scope, objectives and deliverables

Oversee the construction phase of the projects ensuring efficient resource utilization and adherence to safety protocols

Manage and coordinate with contractors and vendors to meet project timelines

Possess deep knowledge of solar and wind technologies to optimize the design and performance of large scale plants

Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost effectiveness and financial efficiency

Ensure projects are completed within the stipulated timelines addressing the challenges effectively

Implement and ensure quality control measures to uphold highest standards in construction

Maintain clear and open communication with CFTs, stakeholders and external partners

Provide regular updates on project progress, addressing any concerns and ensuring alignment with project goals

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Project or Construction Management

Expertise of having handled at least 300 MW of Solar & Wind projects

Proven experience of 10-12 years in utility scale Solar & Wind projects including successful project delivery

In-depth knowledge of Solar & Wind technology and construction methodologies and best practices

Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills

Familiarity with regulations, compliance and safety protocols in project construction

Proven expertise in developing and monitoring project management software and dashboards is a must

Project Management Professional certification is a plus
