Position Profile: Python/Data Engineer – Financial Systems (Python, APIs, AWS)
We are building a robust internal investment analytics and data platform that powers research, portfolio construction, risk management, and long-term decision-making at Itus Capital. The system integrates 20+ years of financial, sectoral, and macroeconomic data and is designed to support both quantitative analysis and intuitive, analyst-driven exploration.
This role focuses on building and owning the data and integration layer — connecting external data sources (including Excel-based workflows and APIs) into a scalable AWS-backed data infrastructure, and enabling reliable, low-latency access for analytics, models, and internal tools. This is a hands-on engineering role with deep exposure to financial data and close collaboration with the founding team.
