About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and client-oriented Chartered Accountant or Semi-Qualified CA with CISA or DISA qualification to join our professional team in a senior audit and assurance role.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in audit, accounting, internal controls and information systems with excellent client-management and business-development capabilities. This is a client-facing role for an individual who is not only comfortable managing assignments and interacting with senior stakeholders, but also has the hunger and entrepreneurial mindset to build relationships and bring new clients under the firm's portfolio .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage statutory, internal, risk and management audit assignments across diverse industries.
• Undertake Information Systems and IT audits , including assessment of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and application controls.
• Evaluate internal controls, identify risks and control weaknesses, and provide practical recommendations.
• Manage client relationships and act as a key point of contact for senior client personnel.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, discussions and exit meetings with confidence and professionalism.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients and actively participate in business development and client acquisition .
• Develop and maintain strong professional networks and demonstrate the ability and hunger to bring new clients and assignments under the firm's portfolio .
• Stay abreast of and interpret regulatory and compliance requirements issued by RBI, SEBI, MCA, ICAI, IRDAI, GST authorities and other relevant statutory and regulatory bodies , as applicable to assignments.
• Ensure audit and assurance work is conducted in accordance with applicable Standards on Auditing, professional standards, regulatory requirements and industry-specific guidelines .
• Analyse financial and operational data to identify exceptions, unusual trends, control gaps and potential areas of risk.
• Prepare and review audit reports, management letters, presentations, working papers and other client deliverables .
• Mentor and guide junior team members and review their work for quality and completeness.
• Contribute to improving audit methodologies, processes and technology-enabled audit practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

The candidate should have:

• CA qualification , or be Semi-Qualified CA with CISA or DISA .
• 7–8 years of relevant professional experience , preferably in audit, assurance, internal audit, risk advisory or IT audit.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, auditing, internal controls, risk management and regulatory compliance .
• Practical understanding of ITGC, application controls, ERP controls and Information Systems Audit .
• Proven ability to be client-facing and independently interact with clients and senior management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills .
• A strong commercial orientation and demonstrated hunger to develop business and acquire new clients .
• Ability to identify client requirements and convert professional relationships into business opportunities.
• Strong awareness of evolving RBI, SEBI and other statutory/regulatory authority guidelines .
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel ; knowledge of ERP systems, data analytics and audit tools will be an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines and lead teams effectively.
