About the Role
Gokaldas Images Pvt. Ltd., one of India's leading apparel manufacturers, is
seeking an experienced HR Head to lead the Human Resources function across its
manufacturing operations and corporate office. The role requires a seasoned HR
professional with strong expertise in Factory HR, Industrial Relations, labour
law compliance, talent acquisition, performance management, and employee
engagement.
The successful candidate will partner closely with business leadership to
build a high-performance culture while maintaining positive industrial
relations across a predominantly women workforce.
Key Responsibilities
HR Leadership

Lead the overall HR strategy and operations for manufacturing plants and
corporate functions.

Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, organization
development, succession planning, and employee engagement.

Drive HR initiatives that support business growth, operational excellence,
and organizational transformation.
Factory HR & Industrial Relations
-
Manage HR operations for a large shop-floor workforce in a labour-intensive
manufacturing environment.

Maintain healthy Industrial Relations through proactive employee engagement,
grievance handling, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes.

Build strong relationships with employees, supervisors, and external
stakeholders while ensuring workforce stability and productivity.
Labour Law & Statutory Compliance

Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory
requirements, including Factory, Contract Labour, EPF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity,
POSH, Wages, and other employment regulations.

Liaise with labour authorities and government agencies as required.
Talent & Performance Management

Lead recruitment for manufacturing and corporate functions.

Drive goal setting, performance management, leadership development, and
capability-building initiatives.

Develop and implement HR policies, systems, and best practices that enhance
organizational effectiveness.
Employee Engagement
-
Foster an inclusive, high-performance work culture through effective
communication, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.

Champion people practices that support a safe, respectful, and productive
workplace.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
Experience
-
10+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant exposure to
Factory HR and Industrial Relations.

Experience in apparel, garments, textiles, FMCG, engineering, or other
labour-intensive manufacturing industries is preferred.

Demonstrated experience managing both shop-floor and corporate HR functions.
