Educational Qualification & Criteria

Must:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or a related field

Preferred:
Master’s degree or postgraduate qualification in relevant discipline
Experience
Approx. 2 to 3 years (for Associates) in similar trade finance operations
profile
Professional & Personal Abilities
-
Good knowledge of Trade Finance Instruments (LC, BG, LC Discounting,
Remittances & compliances)
- Understanding of UCP 600 & international trade regulations
-
Banking online portals exposure for non-fund-based transactions is desirable
-
Banking coordination, negotiation skills and able to travel to local banks
for operational work
- Analytical ability in Non-Fund Based limits
- Attention to detail in document scrutiny
- Strong stakeholder management
Key Job Responsibilities
LC Operations
-
Assist in issuance, amendment, acceptance, closure & discounting of LCs
- Review trade documents as per UCP 600 guidelines

Verify inward LCs and shipping documents (BL, AWB, Invoice, Packing List)
- Coordinate with banks and internal teams
- Track LCs from receipt to payment realization
BG Operations
- Process issuance of Performance, Bid, Financial & Advance BGs
- Monitor expiry, renewals & cancellations
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms
- Support issuance of bank certificates for bids
Remittance
- Process foreign remittances and ensure documentation compliance
MIS & Controls
- Track trade finance limits and non-fund-based exposures
- Assist in cost analysis and reporting as per sanction terms
- Monitor margin/FD collateral requirements
- Support Bill of Entry and EDPMS/IDPMS reconciliation
