Shopify Expert with Google Tag Manager (GTM)

*Job Title: Shopify Expert with Google Tag Manager (GTM)*

*Location:* Remote

*Role Summary:*
We are looking for an immediate expert in Shopify and Google Tag Manager to support a short-term project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Shopify storefront customization and implementing/troubleshooting tracking via GTM.

*Key Responsibilities:*
- Implement, configure, and debug Google Tag Manager on Shopify (including Shopify Plus if applicable)
- Set up and manage tags for Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, and other marketing pixels
- Work with Shopify's checkout extensibility, custom pixels, and data layer
- Troubleshoot tracking issues, conversion tracking, and e-commerce events (view_item, add_to_cart, begin_checkout, purchase)
- Collaborate with marketing team to ensure accurate data collection
- Provide documentation of implementation

*Required Skills:*
- 3+ years of experience with Shopify development / Shopify Liquid
- Proven expertise in Google Tag Manager, GA4, and e-commerce tracking
- Strong understanding of Shopify data layer and custom events
- Experience with enhanced e-commerce / GA4 e-commerce events
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Experience with conversion tracking and attribution

*Good to Have:*
- Experience with Google Tag Manager Server-side tagging
- Experience with Shopify Custom Pixel
- Experience with other analytics tools (Klaviyo, Meta CAPI)
