Full-Stack GenAI Developer – Skills & Requirements
1. Front-End (Reactive Web Apps)
The highest priority needs are bolded.

Core Frameworks:
Strong in
React.js / Next.js
with state management (
Redux, Zustand, Recoil
).

Styling/UI:
Tailwind, Chakra UI, Material UI, or shadcn/ui for polished and fast UI
builds.

TypeScript:
Comfort working with typed front-ends to ensure maintainability.

Data Handling:
Experience with REST/GraphQL, handling streaming responses (important for
GenAI).

Real-time UX:
Familiar with websockets, server-sent events, or React Suspense for AI

2. GenAI Integration

APIs & SDKs:
Experience with
OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, Hugging Face
, or custom LLM endpoints (Ollama, vLLM, etc.).

LangChain / LlamaIndex:
Comfort orchestrating prompts, memory, RAG pipelines, and embeddings.

Vector DBs:
Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, or Chroma for knowledge retrieval.

Prompt Engineering Basics:
Understanding how to design structured prompts and manage input/output
formats.

Model Hosting:
Experience consuming both SaaS APIs and self-hosted LLMs via REST/gRPC.
3. Backend & Middleware

Node.js / Express / Fastify:
To build middle layers that handle auth, caching, and API orchestration.

Serverless:
Vercel, AWS Lambda, or Azure Functions for scalable deployment.

Database:
Postgres/MySQL via Prisma/TypeORM for persistent storage.

Authentication:
OAuth2, JWT, Clerk/Auth0/Supabase Auth for user/session handling.

Performance & Cost Management:
Handling token limits, caching AI responses, and batching requests.
4. DevOps & Collaboration

Git/GitHub with good branching and PR practices.

GitHub Actions, Vercel pipelines, or Docker workflows.

Cloud:
Familiarity with at least one platform (AWS, GCP, Azure) for hosting APIs

Offshore folks who can work async – Slack/Notion/Jira fluency is underrated.
