QA Automation Tester
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Tester with 7+ years of experience to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API testing, test automation, and Selenium, along with a deep understanding of modern QA practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and Rest Assured
- Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans, test cases, and test data
- Execute functional, regression, and integration testing
- Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate with development teams for resolution
- Ensure test coverage and maintain high-quality standards across releases
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives)
- Continuously improve testing processes, frameworks, and automation strategies
Required Skills
- Strong experience in QA and Test Automation
- Hands-on expertise with Selenium WebDriver
- Good experience in API Testing (Postman, Rest Assured)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java preferred)
- Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins or similar)
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good to Have
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Exposure to performance testing tools
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL
- Experience with version control tools like Git
