We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with a strong background in Azure Databricks to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering implementation-ready logical and physical data models within Azure Databricks (Delta Lake), adhering to the Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold). You will ensure that Data Engineers can immediately begin development with clear schema definitions, SQL structures, and zero ambiguity. This position requires deep expertise in various data modeling techniques and a proven ability to translate complex business requirements into robust and scalable data solutions. You will play a critical role in shaping our modern data platform, ensuring data integrity, performance, and accessibility for analytical and operational needs. Roles and Responsibilities • Design and deliver implementation-ready logical and physical data models within Azure Databricks (Delta Lake) following Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold). • Develop Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models. • Define schemas, entities, attributes, relationships, keys, constraints, and data types. • Provide DDL-ready SQL definitions for implementation. • Design structured models across Bronze, Silver, and Gold Layers within Azure Databricks. • Define transformation logic across layers (Bronze Silver Gold) and incorporate Delta Lake best practices. • Apply advanced modelling techniques including 3rd Normal Form (3NF), Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Data Vault. • Ensure models are build-ready for Data Engineering teams and maintain ER diagrams, data dictionary, and mapping documents. | 11:00 am to 8 pm (Candidate has to be flexible, and may require 4 hours overlap of US hours) | 1.2 LPM + Tax (Please do not consider a final rate as we may have to negoatiate on this later depending upon the feedback and experience the resource is holding) | 1 | "(Hyrbrid/Remote ) (Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Noida) (Candidate has to work 2/3 days from office in a week)" | 6 Months |
