Job Title

Telecom Solution Architect – BSS / TM Forum (eTOM, SID, TAM)

Role Summary

We are seeking a Telecom Solution Architect with strong experience in BSS transformation and integration, and deep familiarity with TM Forum frameworks and standards. The architect will define end-to-end solution architecture across Customer, Product, Order, Billing/Charging, CRM, Partner, and Digital channels, ensuring alignment to TM Forum ODA principles and enabling API-led, cloud-ready, scalable designs.

The role requires hands-on architecture ownership—from discovery and solutioning through delivery governance—working with business stakeholders, product owners, enterprise architects, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

Own and understand and design end-to-end solution architecture for telecom BSS initiatives: CRM, Product Catalog, CPQ, Order Management/Orchestration, Billing, Payments, Revenue Management, Partner/Wholesale, Digital channels.
Translate business goals into target architecture, solution blueprints, and roadmaps aligned to enterprise standards.
Define domain architecture using TM Forum frameworks:
- eTOM for process alignment
- SID for information/data modeling
- TAM for application mapping

Integration & Interoperability

Lead integration design across BSS and enterprise systems (e.g., network provisioning, inventory, mediation, charging, data platforms).
Define canonical models and mapping using SID-aligned entities , ensuring interoperability and reuse.

Delivery Governance

Produce architecture deliverables: HL D, LLD (where required), solution diagrams, interface specs, API contracts, data flows, user journey, migration strategy.
Review designs, code, and deployments for compliance with architecture and TM Forum standards.
Support estimation, planning, risks & dependencies, and ensure architecture continuity through Agile delivery.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

Run technical workshops with business and IT teams; articulate architecture decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to solution designers and engineers.

Project Management Skills (Added – Must-have)

Practical knowledge of:
- hybrid delivery models
- Project planning, estimation, and dependency management
Experience coordinating with multiple vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders.
Ability to balance architecture excellence with delivery pragmatism.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

TM Forum certifications (e.g., ODA, Open APIs, Frameworx)
Experience with major telecom BSS stacks (any of):
- Ericsson / Huawei BSS
- Huawei CRM / Siebel
- Billing: Ericsson BSCS, Huawei CBS.
Experience with digital transformation, BSS modernization,
Knowledge of OSS touchpoints (Inventory, Activation/Provisioning, Assurance, Fault/Performance, Service Orchestration)
