Position: Senior Oracle ADF 14c Developer Engagement Mode: Not specified Location: Not specified Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Oracle ADF 14c Developer responsible for leading the design, upgrade, modernization, and development of enterprise applications utilizing Oracle Middleware technologies, including Oracle ADF 14c, WebLogic 14c, and Oracle Cloud Platform services. The role focuses on application modernization, migration from legacy middleware stacks, Maven-based build automation, JDK upgrades, framework modernization, and integration with Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle ADF 14c, WebLogic Server 14c, Java EE/Jakarta EE technologies, Maven, REST/SOAP integrations, Oracle databases, and enterprise middleware platforms. The candidate will work independently and within distributed Agile teams, collaborating with business users, architects, DBAs, infrastructure teams, and leadership to deliver scalable enterprise solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and execute Oracle ADF 12c to ADF 14c application upgrade and modernization initiatives • Perform WebLogic Server upgrades to WebLogic 14c, including domain migration, configuration remediation, deployment validation, and performance tuning • Migrate legacy Ant/OJDeploy build frameworks to Maven-based build and deployment pipelines • Upgrade Java applications for compatibility with JDK 17/JDK 21, including dependency analysis and code remediation • Analyze product requirements and collaborate with business and technical teams to design scalable enterprise solutions • Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Oracle ADF 14c and Java EE technologies • Design and implement RESTful and SOAP-based integrations with Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud and other enterprise platforms • Troubleshoot application, deployment, integration, security, and performance issues across middleware environments • Perform dependency upgrades and remediation for third-party frameworks and libraries • Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards, vulnerability remediation, and middleware patching requirements • Support CI/CD initiatives and automate build, deployment, and testing processes • Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and release deployment activities • Proactively identify risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives • Work independently and within distributed Agile teams while meeting project deliverables and timelines Required Skills: EMBTalent | embtalent.ai• Strong experience with Oracle ADF 14c development, deployment, and troubleshooting • Experience upgrading Oracle ADF applications from previous releases to ADF 14c • Deep knowledge of Oracle ADF Business Components (ADF BC), ADF Faces, Task Flows, Data Bindings, Security, and Deployment Architecture • Experience deploying applications using Maven and ADF deployment frameworks • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server 14c administration and deployment • Experience performing WebLogic upgrades, domain migration, security configuration, SSL certificate implementations, and performance tuning • Experience with Oracle Middleware infrastructure components and enterprise deployment architectures • Strong expertise in Java SE 11/17/21 • Extensive experience with Java EE / Jakarta EE • Experience with JSF (JavaServer Faces) • Experience with JAX-RS • Experience with JPA • Experience with JDBC • Experience with Servlets • Experience with EJB • Experience with JMS • Experience with XML/XSD/XSLT • Experience with JSON Processing APIs • Experience remediating applications for Java EE to Jakarta EE namespace compatibility • Strong experience with Maven multi-module project structures • Experience converting legacy build processes to Maven • Knowledge of dependency management, plugin configuration, artifact repositories, and automated deployments • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent • Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud integrations • Hands-on experience with HCM REST APIs • Experience with SOAP Web Services • Experience with HDL (HCM Data Loader) • Experience with HCM Extracts • Experience with BI Publisher • Experience with Fast Formula integrations • Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development experience • Experience developing Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and Performance tuning solutions • Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database (ATP) and Oracle Cloud Database Services • Experience integrating applications using Oracle SOA Suite • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) • Experience with Apache Camel EMBTalent | embtalent.ai• Experience with REST APIs and SOAP Services • Experience with Tibco • Experience with Message Queue technologies • Experience implementing enterprise security solutions using SAML, SSO, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SSL/TLS Certificates • Experience performing security vulnerability remediation and framework upgrades • Experience upgrading libraries such as Apache POI, PDFBox, Bouncy Castle, Logging Frameworks, and JSON/XML Processing Libraries Preferred (Bonus) Skills: • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience • Experience with JDeveloper 14c • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) • Experience with Oracle JET and modern UI frameworks • Experience with containerized deployments and cloud-native architectures • Knowledge of Exadata, Oracle RAC, and Active Data Guard environments • Experience supporting enterprise HR, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, and Workforce Management applications E
