Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Varicent Developer with 2+ years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) solutions using the Varicent platform. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to build scalable compensation solutions and optimize sales performance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Varicent ICM solutions, calculations, workflows, and reports.
- Configure compensation plans, quotas, territories, and commission rules in Varicent.
- Create and optimize ETL processes, data models, and data validations.
- Develop dashboards, scorecards, and reporting components.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing support/enhancements.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing, deployment, and documentation activities.
- Ensure data accuracy, system performance, and process optimization.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Varicent/IBM ICM platform.
- Strong understanding of Incentive Compensation Management concepts.
- Experience with Varicent calculations, workflows, and reporting.
- Good knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Experience in ETL/data integration processes.
- Understanding of sales compensation plans and commission structures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Varicent ELT/Data Manager.
- Exposure to Salesforce or CRM integrations.
- Knowledge of JavaScript or scripting concepts.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
