Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Kotlin Developer with a strong background in debugging, reverse engineering, and extracting business logic from existing systems. The ideal candidate should be highly analytical, capable of understanding complex codebases, and skilled in optimizing and restructuring legacy applications. This role requires 7+ years of overall software development experience with minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Kotlin.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, debug, and troubleshoot complex Kotlin-based applications
• Extract and document business logic from existing codebases and legacy systems
• Reverse engineer application workflows and system behavior
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand functional requirements
• Refactor and optimize existing code for better performance and maintainability
• Identify bottlenecks, bugs, and propose effective solutions
• Ensure high code quality through best practices, testing, and code reviews
• Maintain proper technical documentation for extracted logic and workflows

Required Skills

• 7+ years of overall software development experience
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Kotlin
• Strong expertise in debugging and analyzing large-scale applications
• Experience in reverse engineering and understanding undocumented systems
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns
• Proficiency in working with APIs, backend services, and integrations
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Experience with version control systems like Git
