looking for an AWS MSK Kafka Developer with strong hands-on experience in Kafka development at the code level from scratch.

Primary Skill:
AWS MSK (Managed Streaming for Kafka) / Apache Kafka Development
Secondary Skills:
AWS S3
AWS Lambda
Kubernetes (K8s)
Networking
Experience Required:
5 to 8 years of experience
Preferred Profile:
Candidate should have strong development experience in Kafka/MSK, including producer-consumer implementation, event streaming, troubleshooting, and integrations with AWS services. Knowledge of DevOps/cloud environments will be an added advantage.

An AWS MSK Developer typically works on:
Kafka Producer Development – writing code to publish messages/events to Kafka topics
Kafka Consumer Development – building services that consume and process messages from topics
Topic management & partitions – designing topic strategy, partitioning, replication
Event-driven architecture – integrating microservices using Kafka events
Message serialization – using JSON, Avro, Protobuf, schema registry
Error handling & retries – DLQ (Dead Letter Queue), retries, failure handling
Performance optimization – consumer groups, throughput, lag handling
AWS integrations – integrating MSK with Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS, K8s, databases, etc.
Security – IAM auth, TLS, encryption, VPC networking
