Senior Java Lead

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead – Java to join the Backend Team in Noida. The ideal
candidate will bring extensive hands-on expertise in Java/J2EE (specifically Java 8), Spring Boot,
microservices architecture, and RDBMS systems. This role requires a strong understanding of design
patterns and proven experience in architecting and maintaining cloud-native SaaS-based products. The
Technical Lead will be responsible for driving software development using Java and related technologies,
ensuring code quality, mentoring team members, and delivering scalable and resilient solutions. The
candidate will collaborate closely with onsite and external teams, participate in scrum ceremonies, and lead
technical decision-making across the development lifecycle. A deep knowledge of modern software
development practices, cloud platforms, and the ability to lead and mentor a development team is essential
for success in this role

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead software development using Java and related technologies
• Solve technical problems using cutting-edge technologies and best practices
• Ensure code meets required development standards and is optimized for performance
• Perform peer code reviews using GIT pull requests
• Propose multiple solutions to a problem and evaluate trade-offs between options
• Research and implement proof of concepts
• Manage and own team code quality, ensuring use of best practices and proper code coverage
• Manage team deliveries, unblock team members, coordinate dependencies, and guide technical
approaches
• Debug and analyze code to identify fixes for reported issues
• Support delivered projects during the warranty period
• Conduct requirement and impact analysis
• Coordinate dependencies with onsite and external teams
• Collaborate with the onsite team in scrum meetings

Required Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 8–12 years of Java exposure
• Java / J2EE (Java 8)
• Spring Framework (Spring, Spring Boot, Spring REST, Spring Cloud Config, Spring WebFlux)
• Microservices architecture and development
• Test Driven Development (TDD)
• SQL with RDBMS systems (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• ORM frameworks: Hibernate, iBatis, JDBC, JPA
• Messaging systems: JMS, Kafka, IBM MQ, or ActiveMQ
• JUnit and mocking frameworks (Mockito, EasyMock, JMock)
• Cloud platforms: PCF or Azure
• Code repository tools: SVN and GIT

Build and deployment tools: Gradle, Maven, Ant
• CI/CD pipelines, particularly Jenkins
• Design patterns: GoF, J2EE, and integration patterns
• Developing and consuming REST, gRPC, and GraphQL services
• Domain Driven Design (DDD) and CQRS
• Performance testing using JMeter

Preferred (Bonus) Skills:
• NoSQL databases: MongoDB or Cassandra
• Familiarity with cloud-native SaaS-based product architecture
• Experience with scalable and resilient solution delivery
