Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Varicent Developer with strong expertise in Varicent Composer, Reports, Workflows, and Scheduler to support and enhance our Sales Performance Management (SPM) platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining compensation models, reports, and automation processes within the Varicent platform.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Varicent Composer models for incentive compensation calculations and business logic.
Build and maintain Varicent reports and dashboards to support sales compensation reporting and analytics.
Develop and manage Workflows to automate compensation processes and ensure smooth execution of business rules.
Configure and maintain Scheduler jobs for data loads, calculations, and automated report generation.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting related to compensation calculations.
Work closely with Sales Operations, Finance, and Business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement compensation plan changes.
Develop and maintain data integrations between Varicent and external systems such as CRM, ERP, or data warehouses.
Conduct testing, deployment, and documentation of compensation plan changes and system enhancements.
Monitor system performance and ensure data accuracy and process reliability.

Required Skills

5+ years of experience working with Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM/SPM) platform.
Strong hands-on experience with Varicent Composer, Reports, Workflows, and Scheduler.
Experience in sales compensation plan design and commission calculation logic.
Strong SQL and data analysis skills for validation and troubleshooting.
Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and large data sets.
Knowledge of sales compensation structures such as quotas, commissions, bonuses, and crediting rules.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Varicent data models and calculation engine.
Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.) and ERP integrations.
Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
Knowledge of Sales Performance Management (SPM) best practices.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.

Soft Skills

Ability to translate business compensation requirements into technical solutions.
Detail-oriented with strong focus on data accuracy and reporting.
