Java + GCP

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our technology team. The role involves end-to-end ownership of software solutions — from analysis and design through construction, testing, and implementation — using appropriate software development life cycle methodologies. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 8 years of experience and will lead the design, development, and support of IT solutions spanning multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies. The Senior Developer will interact directly with customers to understand business and technical contexts, validate project scope and deliverables, and drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices. This role requires deep expertise in Java-based backend development, cloud platforms (GCP), microservices architecture, and relational databases. Key Responsibilities: • Responsible for the analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation of business and technical IT solutions through appropriate SDLC methodology • Construct, test, and implement portions of business and technical IT solutions • Participate in standard business and technical IT solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions • Use appropriate tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business and/or technical problems • Apply specialized knowledge in disciplines such as assembly/integration, cross-discipline functions, knowledge engineering, industry expertise, or legacy evolution • Interact with customers to gain an understanding of the business environment and technical context • Validate scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned projects • Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of IT solutions encompassing multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies • Define project scope, plans, and deliverables, including proposed implementation dates • Research, analyze, recommend, and implement new technologies, standard processes, tools, and techniques Required Skills: • Core Java with hands-on development experience • Spring Boot proficiency • Hibernate and JPA • Apache Kafka • Building RESTful APIs  Google Cloud Platform (GCP) — Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, GKE, BigQuery • Microservices architecture design and deployment • Relational databases and SQL • ORM technologies • Git and GitHub/GitLab for version control • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • 6 to 8 years of software development experience • B.Tech or MCA education qualification Preferred (Bonus) Skills: • Proactive attitude and ability to quickly learn new technologies • Experience with cross-discipline and legacy evolution projects • Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset E
