ServiceNow Developer
The ServiceNow Developer will lead the technical implementation, maintenance,
and enhancement of the ServiceNow platform. You will translate business
requirements into technical solutions, write custom scripts, and build
integrations to ensure the platform operates as a cohesive "system of action"
for the organization.
Key Responsibilities

Custom Development:
Design and develop custom applications, modules, and workflows (Flow
Designer, Workflow Editor).

Scripting:
Write and debug complex JavaScript for Client Scripts, Business Rules,
Script Includes, and UI Actions.

System Integration:
Build and maintain integrations with third-party tools (e.g., Jira, Slack,
Salesforce, Azure) using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.

Platform Configuration:
Manage UI policies, UI pages, ACLs (Access Control Lists), and Data
Policies.

Maintenance & Upgrades:
Perform system clones, apply patches, and manage platform version upgrades.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and
provide technical feasibility assessments.

Documentation:
Maintain technical design documents, system architecture diagrams, and user
manuals.
Technical Skills & Requirements
Primary Language
Expert-level JavaScript (specifically ServiceNow's Glide API).
Web Technologies
HTML, CSS, XML, and AngularJS (for Service Portal development).
Frameworks
Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)
processes.
Certifications

Certified System Administrator (CSA):
The foundational certificate.

The core certificate for development roles.
