Position summary

We're hiring a Business Intelligence Systems Analyst to support and enhance enterprise reporting, analytics, and data integration platforms. This role is the link between business teams and technology, ensuring reliable, scalable, actionable data is available for decision-making.

The primary focus is data integration and platform administration on Matillion and Snowflake, experience with both is mandatory. The role also covers reporting, data modeling, dashboard development, and business analytics using Tableau, Power BI, and related tools. You'll partner closely with Planning, Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and IT to deliver data-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency and business performance.

Key responsibilities

BI platform administration & data integration

Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and workflows in Matillion
Monitor and support data movement across source systems, warehouses, and reporting platforms
Manage data refresh processes and troubleshoot integration issues
Partner with IT and business stakeholders on data quality, integrity, and reliability
Support enterprise analytics platforms including Snowflake, Tableau, and Power BI
Automate manual processes and improve data-delivery efficiency

Reporting & analytics

Design and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reports in Tableau and Power BI
Build data models that support scalable reporting and analytics
Gather business requirements and translate them into reporting deliverables
Optimize report performance, data structures, and query efficiency
Deliver insights and recommendations supporting strategic and operational decisions

Business partnership & support

Provide ongoing support for internal reporting and planning tools
Investigate and resolve reporting, data, and system issues
Act as subject matter expert for BI platforms and analytics
Work with business users to identify needs and recommend solutions
Support user adoption through training, documentation, and best practices

Project management & documentation

Lead BI and analytics initiatives from requirements through implementation
Coordinate project activities across internal teams
Track timelines, risks, and deliverables
Maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, process flows, and reporting definitions
Support data validation, testing, and quality assurance

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field
3+ years supporting business intelligence, analytics, reporting, or data integration
Hands-on experience with Matillion and Snowflake (or similar cloud data platforms)
Dashboard and report development in Tableau, Power BI, or similar
Knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT, and relational databases
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred: retail industry experience and understanding of retail planning concepts and retail math
