Workplace: Onsite – Vikhroli West Mumbai .

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Years of experience: 5-7 years Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled candidate
•
Having sound knowledge of the Liabilities processes of Banks Knowledge of Assets would be an added advantage
•
Having an eye for detail
•
Having excellent communication and collaboration skills
•
Having excellent documentation skills
•
Having working knowledge of JIRA
•
Having working knowledge of Postman
•
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
This is a high-impact, hands-on role that demands functional expertise, leadership, and a product-driven mindset. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to build scalable backend systems that power modern fintech applications.
Key Responsibilities
•
Perform API testing using tools like Postman/Newman
•
Test and validate system integrations across source and target systems
•
Analyse requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data
•
Execute functional, integration, and regression testing
•
Validate defects against functional requirements and track them in JIRA
•
Collaborate with BA and technical teams during functional and integration testing
•
Ensure proper documentation of test results and defects
•
Participate in requirement discussions to identify test scenarios early
•
Collaborate with the client to understand requirements and support UAT and production validation activities.
Technical Requirements
•
Strong experience in API Testing (Postman, Newman, etc.)
•
Hands-on experience with JIRA for defect tracking and test management
•
Understanding of banking processes (Liabilities; Assets is a plus)
•
Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, request/response validation
•
Experience in integration testing
Ideal Candidate Profile
•
Experience with automation tools (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.)
•
Exposure to performance testing tools
•
Basic understanding of Agile methodology
Educational Qualifications
• No restriction in educational degree but experience in Banking a must. Either as Banker or Vendor resource in BA / Testing roles.
