SAP Production Planning and Control Officer

EXPERIENCE:
 3-7 years of experience in Production Planning and
Control within a manufacturing environment.
 Hands-on experience using SAP ERP (SAP S/4HANA) for
production planning and manufacturing execution.
 Experience with MRP, production scheduling, capacity
planning, and production order management.
 Experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, heavy
manufacturing, or industrial manufacturing is preferred.
 Create, release, monitor, and close production/process
orders in SAP ERP.
 Execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and
coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely material
availability.
 Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to
address capacity, material, or operational constraints.
 Maintain SAP PP master data, including Material Masters,
Bills of Materials (BOMs), Routings, Work Centers,
Production Versions, and planning parameters.
 Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement,
Manufacturing, Quality, Warehouse, and Program
Management to ensure smooth production execution.
 Monitor production order status, material shortages, and
work center utilization, and proactively resolve planning

issues.
 Ensure production activities comply with quality standards,
contractual requirements, and organizational procedures.
 Analyze production performance and prepare planning,
inventory, and manufacturing reports.
 Support inventory optimization by minimizing stock
shortages, excess inventory, and production delays.
 Identify and implement process improvements to enhance
production planning efficiency and SAP data accuracy.
 Participate in ERP enhancements, testing, user
acceptance testing (UAT), and continuous improvement
initiatives.
 Experience working in cross-functional manufacturing
teams.

 Microsoft Excel and ERP Reporting Tools
 Cross-Functional Integration (FI, MM, PP, SD, QM, EWM)
QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATION:
 Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing,
Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
 Professional certifications in Production Planning, Supply
Chain, APICS/CPIM, or Lean Manufacturing are an
advantage.
 SAP ERP end-user training or certification is desirable.
