Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled PHP / WordPress / MySQL Developer & Linux Server Administrator to manage website development, application hosting, server administration, performance enhancement, and backup management. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining dynamic web applications, managing Linux-based hosting environments, ensuring website security, optimizing server performance, and implementing reliable backup and recovery mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities

Website Development & Maintenance

- Develop, customize, and maintain PHP-based web applications and WordPress websites.

- Design and develop responsive and user-friendly website interfaces.

- Create and manage WordPress themes, plugins, and custom modules.

- Perform website enhancements, bug fixing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

- Ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility.

WordPress Administration

- Install, configure, and manage WordPress environments.

- Manage WordPress updates, plugin upgrades, and security patches.

- Optimize WordPress performance and implement caching strategies.

- Monitor website uptime, health, and performance.

MySQL Database Management

- Design, manage, and optimize MySQL databases.

- Perform database tuning, indexing, query optimization, and troubleshooting.

- Ensure database security and backup management.

- Handle database migration and replication activities.

Linux Server Administration

- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu/CentOS/RHEL).

- Manage Apache/Nginx web servers and PHP configurations.

- Configure SSL certificates, domain hosting, DNS, and virtual hosts.

- Monitor server health, CPU, memory, storage, and network performance.

- Perform server hardening and security implementation.

Application Hosting & Deployment

- Deploy and manage applications on Linux hosting environments.

- Configure hosting environments for PHP, WordPress, and MySQL applications.

- Manage CI/CD deployment activities and release management.

- Troubleshoot hosting and application-related issues.

- Support cloud/VPS hosting platforms.

Backup & Disaster Recovery

- Implement automated backup strategies for websites, databases, and servers.

- Monitor and validate backup schedules and restoration processes.

- Ensure disaster recovery readiness and data protection compliance.

- Maintain backup logs and recovery documentation.

Security & Performance Optimization

- Implement website and server security best practices.

- Configure firewall, malware protection, and access controls.

- Optimize application and server performance.

- Conduct vulnerability assessment and preventive maintenance.
