Associate Developer for Power Platform
The Solution Developer (Power Platform) is responsible for developing, coordinating, and architecting all activities related to the development of Power Platform, including integration with existing applications and third-party solutions, that support the Empower initiative. This inclu des identifying and troublesho oting any application issues, resolving or escalating them a s needed.
Additionally, She/he will assi st in gathering requirements, building business cases, and e stimating effort for enhanceme nts of existing solutions. She/he will work cl osely with the Project Manager / Team/Platform Lead and repor ts to designated senior Intern ational Staff and/or senior National Staff.
Scope of Work and Responsibili ties
1. Solutions Design and Delive ry:
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and rec ommend solutions that meet tho se needs.
• Estimate the costs and benef its of different solutions, in cluding future enhancements, p ossible impacts on performance and security.
• Design, implement and mainta in solutions based on client n eeds.
• Ensure all captured business requirements are translated a nd aligned with ITD’s technica l solutions, product roadmap, backlog, and architecture.
• Track client feedback to ens ure satisfaction with the solu tion provided.
• Lead delivery through Scaled Agile Framework, DevOps, CI/ CD (Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery) testing, and deployment.
• Work with development teams to create new solutions or imp rove existing ones.
• Review all design issues and provide guidance to developer s, support engineers, and admi nistrators on fixing defects.
• Perform other related duties assigned by supervisor.
2. Knowledge Management:
• Create documentation such as Requirements Definition Docum ent (RDD), Solution Design Doc ument (SDD), Security License to Operate (SLTO) or Transition Support and Maintenance Plan (TSMP).
• Maintain platform and techni cal documentation. 3.Continuous Improvement and Compliance:
• Identify opportunities for i mprovement in existing solutio ns and recommend enhancements to be implemented.
• Analyze existing architectur es to ensure solutions are in line with overall enterprise a rchitecture, identify weakness es and recommend improvements.
• Perform system security asse ssments to ensure that solutio ns comply with the security fr amework and that data is safe from unauthorize access. • Ensure post deployment services are provided, at least for 12 months .
Requirement and Qualification (Education & Work Experience)
Education and Work Experience
• Bachelor's degree or tertiar y-level institute diploma/ certificate preferably in Info rmation Technology, Business A dministration/ Management, Engineering, or Computer Science-related courses or equivalent
• Power Platform and SharePoin t 5+ years of experience ( architecture, development, rol lout, maintenance, data management, migration)
• Hands-on experience architec ting solutions that involve cu stomization to include server- side code, custom business log ic, integration modules, workflow assemblies, and plug-ins.
Technical Knowledge
• Power Platform (PowerApps, P ower Automate, Copilot Studio, PowerBI, Power Pages)
.NET, JavaScript, JavaScript f rameworks and libraries (e.g. AngularJS, ReactJS, FabricJS, jQuery), HTML, CSS, REST APIs, XML, JSON, SQL, and other database engines
• C# or Visual Basic, Visual S tudio, Web Services, and the C RM SDK are preferred.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into sol utions, including designing wo rkflows and automations.
• Demonstrated ability in solu tion or enterprise architectur e.
• Experience with agile method ologies, including DevOps prac tices, CI/CD pipelines, and it erative solution delivery.
• Prior experience in agile me thodologies and product manage ment.
