Workday Consultant

Key Responsibilities
* API Management: Configure and manage Workday Web Services (WWS), including both REST and SOAP-based APIs.
* Security Configuration: Build and maintain Integration System Users (ISU) and Integration System Security Groups (ISSG); manage Domain Security Policies to ensure secure data transit.
* Data Extraction (RaaS): Create and optimize Advanced Reports to be exposed as Reports-as-a-Service (RaaS) for external consumption.
* Business Process Automation: Configure Workday Business Processes (Hire, Job Change, Termination) to trigger outbound notifications and webhooks.
* Logic & Mapping: Develop Calculated Fields to transform Workday data into the required format for external system consumption.
* Testing: Lead technical UAT in the Sandbox environment, troubleshooting authentication and data-transfer issues.

Technical Skills (Required)
* Core Workday Tools: Proficiency in EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) and Core Connectors.
* Web Services: Hands-on experience with Workday API endpoints and WWS.
* Advanced Reporting: Mastery of Calculated Fields and RaaS setup.
* Data Formats: Strong knowledge of JSON and XML.
* Security: Deep understanding of Workday’s Security Model (Functional Area & Domain Security).

Ideal Candidate Profile
* Experience: 3–6 years of technical Workday experience (specifically in Integrations).
* Education: B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent technical degree.
* Certifications: Workday Integration or HCM Core certification is a significant plus.
* Mindset: A specialist who prefers the "behind-the-scenes" technical setup over functional HR administration.
