ServiceNow QA
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced
ServiceNow QA Engineer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the
quality and reliability of ServiceNow platform implementations,
customizations, and integrations through thorough testing strategies and
methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
-
Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
for ServiceNow platform modules including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and
custom applications.

Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance
testing (UAT) on ServiceNow implementations.

Validate workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and
other ServiceNow configurations.

Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools;
work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.

Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives as
part of an Agile/Scrum development process.

Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to
understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test
coverage.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using ServiceNow ATF
(Automated Test Framework) or other compatible testing tools.

Ensure compliance with quality standards, best practices, and
organizational policies throughout the testing lifecycle.

Provide detailed QA reports, metrics, and status updates to project
managers and stakeholders.

Support production deployments and post-release validation activities.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a
related field.

Proven experience as a QA Engineer with hands-on expertise in ServiceNow
platform testing.

Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem,
Change, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, and others.

Experience writing and executing manual test cases and automated test
scripts.

Familiarity with ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework).

Proficiency in defect tracking tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or
similar platforms.

Solid understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies, including Agile and
Waterfall.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced
environment.
Preferred Qualifications
-
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or relevant ServiceNow
certification.

ISTQB or other recognized QA certification.

Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured for
ServiceNow integrations.

Knowledge of JavaScript as it relates to ServiceNow scripting and test
automation.

Exposure to performance and load testing methodologies.

Experience working in cloud-based or SaaS environments.
