Position: Senior Golang Developer Engagement Mode: Remote Timezone: India Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Golang Developer with deep expertise in debugging, root cause analysis, and system-level problem-solving. The primary focus of this role will be to analyze complex distributed systems, identify issues, and extract/optimize business logic within existing Golang services deployed on GCP. This is a high-impact, debugging-intensive role with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. Key Responsibilities: • Perform advanced debugging and root cause analysis on production-grade Golang applications • Analyze and troubleshoot issues in distributed, microservices-based architectures • Extract, understand, and document business logic from existing services and codebases • Work closely with DevOps and cloud teams to resolve system-level and infrastructure-related issues on GCP • Optimize performance, memory usage, and concurrency handling in Go applications • Investigate logs, traces, and metrics to identify bottlenecks and failures • Refactor legacy or complex code for better maintainability and scalability • Ensure system reliability, stability, and performance under load • Contribute to incident resolution and post-mortem analysis Required Skills: • 7+ years of overall software development experience • Strong hands-on experience in Golang (Go) • Deep understanding of Goroutines and concurrency patterns • Deep understanding of Channels and synchronization mechanisms • Memory management and performance tuning • Proven expertise in debugging complex backend systems • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Logging) • Experience working with microservices and distributed systems • Proficiency in analyzing logs, monitoring tools, and observability platforms • Strong understanding of REST/gRPC APIs and backend integrations • Experience with version control systems (Git) Preferred (Bonus) Skills: • Experience with Kubernetes (GKE) and containerized environments • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices • Exposure to tracing tools like Jaeger, Zipkin, or similar • Prior experience in high-scale production environments • Ability to quickly ramp up on existing systems with minimal documentation • Immediate joiner preferred
