Job Title: AI/ML Engineer (Generative AI Focus) Lead – 7 to 10 Years Experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled AI/ML Engineer with 7-10 years of experience in AI/ML technologies, including hands-on expertise to develop and implement Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with RAG systems, embedding models, document processing, and basic agent frameworks and NLP. This role involves working closely with senior architects and cross-functional teams to build scalable AI systems and integrate GenAI capabilities into our products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. AI/ML Development & Implementation:

Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for various applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability
Implement and optimize AI pipelines, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation
Work on integrating Generative AI (GenAI) technologies, such as Large Language Models (LLMs), into production workflows
Implement RAG systems with efficient retrieval components
Develop document processing pipelines including chunking and metadata extraction
Apply embedding models for semantic search applications
Build and maintain vector databases for knowledge retrieval

2. Code Quality & Engineering Practices:

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards
Implement unit tests and integration tests for AI models and components

3. Evaluation & Testing:

Develop and execute test cases for AI models during black-box testing phases
Monitor model performance using appropriate metrics and KPIs
Assist in troubleshooting and debugging AI models in production

4. GenAI & LLM Expertise:

Work with fine-tuning and optimizing LLMs for specific use cases
Assist in developing AI agents using frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex
Gain experience with vector databases and embedding models

5. Collaboration & Continuous Learning:

Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams
Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML and GenAI
Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team

Required Skills & Qualifications:

7-10 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development
Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar)
Understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and NLP concepts
Familiarity with cloud platforms
Basic understanding of GenAI concepts and technologies
Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with any aspect of the MLOps lifecycle
Exposure to testing AI models and pipelines
Contributions to open-source projects or personal AI/ML projects
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
