Role Overview

The Test Manager is overall accountable for the end-to-end delivery of testing services across assigned portfolios. The role requires strong domain expertise in Digital Banking, Core Banking, and Cards , along with proven experience in managing vendor-led testing engagements, governance, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Overall accountability and responsibility for the successful delivery of testing services across the portfolio.
Manage and oversee day-to-day delivery of testing services executed by bank-appointed vendors.
Review, provide feedback on, and formally sign off on test strategies, test plans, and key testing artefacts delivered by testing service providers.
Coordinate with the Test Governance team to ensure adherence to testing methodologies, standards, tools, and to support health checks and audits.
Ensure any changes to testing scope are communicated effectively to test service providers and that impacts are appropriately reflected in delivery plans.
Engage with multiple stakeholders (including application, security, infrastructure, and business teams) to ensure testing services align with business objectives and demand.
Act as the primary escalation point for testing-related issues raised by stakeholders or testing service providers.
Quantify, track, manage, and report testing status, SLAs, and KPIs, ensuring testing transformation targets are achieved.
Drive planning and coordination of all testing-related deliveries in collaboration with stakeholders and test service providers.
Participate in governance forums and contribute to initiatives focused on testing transformation and innovation.
Work closely with the Test Engineering Lead to define and validate domain-specific test engineering requirements.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Vendor Test Managers and Test Leads across domains.
Actively gather stakeholder feedback on testing service delivery and identify continuous improvement opportunities, feeding insights back to the Test TCoE team.

Key Requirements

Strong industry knowledge in Banking , with deep expertise in the Cards domain .
Comprehensive understanding of SDLC and project delivery methodologies, with a strong focus on testing.
Proven experience managing internal and external stakeholders, including third-party vendors.
Highly detail-oriented and process-driven, with a strong governance mindset.
Project management experience is a strong advantage.

Technical Skills

Extensive hands-on expertise in Cards domain testing .
Strong working knowledge of JIRA and Zephyr .
Preferred experience with test automation tools such as TOSCA , Selenium , or similar technologies.
