Senior Manager / Assistant Director – Product Marketing
About the Role
As a Senior Manager / Assistant Director – Product Marketing, you will lead
product marketing initiatives across new and existing products. You will
drive product positioning, sales messaging, content strategy, and
go-to-market (GTM) initiatives to accelerate product adoption and business
growth.
This role requires close collaboration with Product, Sales, Marketing,
Customer Success, and Leadership teams to create compelling market
narratives, support revenue generation, and strengthen competitive
positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Product Positioning, Portfolio Strategy & Commercialization

Own the strategic positioning, messaging architecture, and
commercialization strategy for the product portfolio.

Define differentiated value propositions and market narratives aligned
with customer needs, industry trends, and business objectives.

Lead marketing strategies for new product launches, feature releases,
market expansion initiatives, and strategic growth programs.

Develop product adoption frameworks and growth strategies to improve
market penetration, customer acquisition, and revenue impact.

Act as the strategic bridge between Product, Sales, Marketing, and
Leadership teams to ensure alignment on product vision and customer value.
Market Intelligence, Customer Insights & Strategic Research

Lead primary and secondary market research to identify market
opportunities, customer needs, competitive threats, and whitespace
opportunities.

Develop a deep understanding of industry ecosystems, customer behavior,
market dynamics, and emerging technologies.

Translate customer insights, market intelligence, and industry trends into
actionable recommendations for product roadmap and GTM strategies.

Build market opportunity assessments, segmentation frameworks, and
strategic insights to support leadership decision-making.
Sales Enablement & Revenue Acceleration

Develop strategic sales enablement programs that equip commercial teams
with customer insights, competitive differentiation, value-selling
frameworks, and compelling narratives.

Create and maintain executive-level sales assets including pitch decks,
solution playbooks, battle cards, case studies, product presentations, and
objection-handling guides.

Partner with Sales Leadership to identify adoption barriers, improve win
rates, and strengthen product-market fit.

Ensure consistent and competitive product messaging across all
customer-facing channels.
Competitive Strategy & Market Leadership

Establish and manage a competitive intelligence function to monitor
competitor positioning, pricing models, product evolution, partnerships,
acquisitions, and GTM strategies.

Develop differentiation strategies and competitive response frameworks to
strengthen market leadership.

Identify category creation opportunities, emerging industry trends, and
whitespace opportunities that can create long-term competitive advantages.

Regularly present market insights, risks, opportunities, and strategic
recommendations to leadership teams.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Strategic Influence

Lead cross-functional planning and alignment across Product, Sales,
Growth, Marketing, Customer Success, PR, and Leadership teams.

Drive strategic discussions around market expansion, customer acquisition,
product adoption, and portfolio growth.

Support GTM planning, business reviews, and performance tracking to
improve visibility into product marketing effectiveness.

Promote a data-driven culture through insights, best practices,
frameworks, and strategic recommendations that improve business outcomes.
Requirements
-
8+ years of experience in Product Marketing, preferably within SaaS,
HealthTech, MarTech, AdTech, AI, or technology-driven environments.

Strong expertise in product positioning, go-to-market strategy,
commercialization, and product adoption.

Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills with the
ability to simplify complex products into compelling business value
propositions.

Proven experience in sales enablement and development of B2B marketing
assets.

Strong experience working with senior leadership and managing
cross-functional collaboration.

Expertise in market research, competitive intelligence, and customer
insights.
