Solution Architect (Analytics)

Purpose of the Position

The purpose of this role is to drive the growth of Analytics and Business Intelligence offerings as a Solution Architect . Key responsibilities include engaging with clients in advisory and consulting, advancing analytics solutions, supporting presales, building capabilities, driving research and experimentation, and nurturing analytics talent.

The organization provides end-to-end data and analytics solutions to commercial and public sector customers across global markets, with a strong presence in the US, EMEA, and APAC regions. The company focuses on four core competencies:

Reporting & Collaboration

This role reports to the Director – Analytics & Data Management Competency Center and requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders including practices, delivery, sales, marketing, and talent development teams, as well as clients and partners.

Location: Pune/Nagpur/Chennai/Bangalore
Travel: Up to 20% (subject to applicable guidelines)

Client Engagement & Advisory

• Engage with new and existing clients to provide analytics advisory and consulting
  
   

• Identify unmet needs and growth opportunities
  
   

• Track data & analytics trends and influence client data strategies through thought leadership
  
   

Solution Architecture & Delivery Enablement

• Architect and design high-performance analytics solutions
  
   

• Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure adoption and reuse
  
   

• Infuse AI and modern analytics practices for scalable and risk-mitigated implementations
  
   

Pre-Sales & Opportunity Support

• Lead and support presales activities including discovery workshops
  
   

• Develop solution approaches, POVs, scope documents, and proposals
  
   

• Support sales and marketing enablement initiatives
  
   

Research, Innovation & Assets

• Drive research and experimentation through Centers of Excellence
  
   

• Build reusable analytics assets and foundation components
  
   

• Create thought leadership through blogs, whitepapers, and industry participation
  
   

Talent Development

• Build and nurture analytics talent through mentoring and learning initiatives
  
   

• Support recruitment and career development within analytics competencies

Work & Technical Experience

• Strong experience in Data & Analytics , Business Intelligence, and Data Visualization
  
   

• Experience in solution design, architecture, and implementation of modern analytics solutions
  
   

• Exposure to greenfield analytics, augmented analytics, full-stack data products, conversational BI, and platform migrations
  
   

• Proficiency in at least two analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, ThoughtSpot, QuickSight, Looker)
  
   

• End-to-end experience covering semantic layer design, data modeling, visualization, and conversational BI
  
   

• Demonstrated presales, advisory, and consulting experience
  
   

• Proven thought leadership through blogs, whitepapers, or industry presentations

• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks)
  
   

• Knowledge of DevSecOps for analytics solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)

• 14+ years of experience in data analytics with a focus on analytics and BI
