About the role
FieldTrax Full-Stack Environment Overview
In the current FieldTrax environment, a true Full-Stack Developer is expected to contribute effectively across all three major repositories/platforms:
1. FieldTrax API (Backend)
- .NET 8
- EF Core 9
- Azure SQL
- Azure AD
- Backend Services & Integrations
2. FieldTrax Web Application (Frontend)
- React 18
- Material UI (MUI)
- MSAL for Azure AD Authentication
- State management using React Hooks and useReducer (Redux is not being used)
Important Note:
Experience limited only to Redux-based state management should not be
considered sufficient alignment with the current frontend architecture.
3. FieldTrax Mobile Application
- Expo React Native application designed for field operations teams
- Built on Legend State (Observable / Reactive State Management Model)
Key Observation:
The mobile application architecture has historically been one of the primary
challenge areas for previous vendors. Developers with only conventional
React Native experience have generally struggled to contribute effectively
without prior hands-on experience in observable/reactive state management
systems.
