Role Overview
We are seeking a senior Cloud Platform Architect to own and steward the architecture of MOBIUS+, our
AWS-based SaaS product platform.
The role will be the technical authority for platform architecture, ensuring MOBIUS+ remains scalable,
secure, resilient, extensible and cost-efficient as the product and ecosystem evolve.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the end-to-end platform architecture, target state and architecture roadmap for
MOBIUS+.
• Define architecture principles, reference patterns, engineering guardrails and Architecture
Decision Records (ADRs).
• Architect a modular and evolvable platform with clear boundaries across product capabilities,
integrations, data and infrastructure.
• Define and govern multi-tenant architecture, including tenant isolation, identity, data
segregation, configuration and tenant lifecycle.
• Support multi-tenant SaaS and dedicated customer deployments while maintaining a coherent
product architecture and unified codebase.
• Define API-first and event-driven architecture, including API governance, versioning, integration
and extensibility patterns.
• Own key non-functional architecture covering security, scalability, availability, resilience,
performance, observability and disaster recovery.
• Drive effective use of AWS cloud-native and managed services, balancing scalability,
operational efficiency and cost.
• Review significant solution designs and ensure implementation conforms to agreed architecture
and engineering guardrails.
• Identify and manage architecture risks, technical debt and platform evolution priorities.
• Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to translate product strategy and
roadmap into sustainable platform capabilities.
• Build architecture capability and promote sound architectural practices across engineering
teams.
Required Experience & Skills
• 12–18 years of software engineering and architecture experience with a strong hands-on
engineering foundation.
• Proven experience architecting and evolving large-scale SaaS/product platforms on AWS.
• Deep understanding of multi-tenancy and tenant-isolation patterns across application, data
and infrastructure layers.
• Strong AWS architecture knowledge across compute/serverless, IAM, networking, databases,
messaging/eventing, security and observability.
• Strong experience with API-driven, modular/microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, resilience, HA/DR, performance and
observability.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and modern DevSecOps practices.

• Ability to evaluate architectural trade-offs and communicate decisions through clear
architecture models and ADRs.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and architecture governance across
engineering teams.
• AI-enabled software engineering and modern engineering productivity practices.
Preferred
• Serverless-first AWS architecture experience.
• Platform engineering and developer-experience practices.
• FinOps and cloud cost optimisation.
• Experience evolving enterprise platforms over long product lifecycles.
