Job Title
Sales Manager / Account Manager
Role Purpose
The Sales Manager –OEM Account is responsible for driving revenue growth,
strengthening strategic relationships, and expanding engineering services
engagement with OEM. He/ She will be working closely with delivery,
engineering,
and leadership teams to position LTTS as a trusted long-term engineering
partner.
Key Responsibilities
1. Account Ownership & Growth
Own end-to-end sales and commercial responsibility for assigned
account/OEM Entities.
Develop and execute account growth strategy, including wallet share
expansion across:
o Engineering & R&D services
o Software & digital engineering
o Embedded systems, EV, autonomous, and connected vehicle domains
Identify new buying centers, programs, and decision makers within
the
Group.
Drive annual revenue targets, margin goals, and pipeline
health for the
account.
2. Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain senior-level relationships with:
o Engineering
o Purchasing
o Program management
o Digital / IT leadership
Act as a trusted advisor, understanding customer's:
o Product roadmap
o Platform strategy
o Transformation initiatives (EV, SDV, AI, manufacturing digitization)
Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and long-term roadmap
discussions.
3. Opportunity Identification & Deal Closure
Proactively identify:
o Engineering outsourcing opportunities
o Capacity augmentation and managed services deals
o Large transformation or multi-year programs
Lead or support:
o RFI/RFP/RFQ responses
o Deal structuring and pricing strategies
o Contract negotiations in alignment with OEM purchasing processes
Ensure competitive positioning against other service provides.
4. Internal Coordination & Delivery Alignment
Work closely with:
o Engineering & delivery teams
o Solution architects
o Program managers
Translate customer requirements into scalable, profitable delivery
models.
Ensure:
o Seamless transition from sales to delivery
o Customer satisfaction and contract renewals
Escalate and manage commercial or delivery risks proactively.
5. Strategic & Market Intelligence
Track OEM ecosystem trends, including:
o Platform consolidation
o SDV and subsidiary developments
o Supplier rationalization strategies
Monitor competitor activities and benchmark pricing and service offerings.
Provide inputs to leadership on account strategy, investments, and
capability gaps.
Required Qualifications
Experience
8–15+ years of experience in B2B sales or account
management within:
o Engineering services
o Automotive R&D
o IT/digital services for OEMs
Experience managing large automotive OEMs is highly preferred.
Track record of closing multi-million-euro engineering services deals.
Language: English & German (proficient)
