Role Overview

The Cybersecurity Leader will be responsible for defining and driving the organization’s cybersecurity strategy, offerings, delivery excellence, and business growth across industries such as Automotive, Transportation, Industrial, MedTech, and Digital Manufacturing. This role combines technology leadership, people management, client engagement, and practice building .

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Define and own the cybersecurity vision, roadmap, and practice strategy aligned to business goals.
• Build scalable cybersecurity offerings across product security, cloud security, OT/IoT security, and regulatory compliance .
• Track evolving threat landscapes and translate them into differentiated solutions.

Delivery & Technical Governance

• Provide technical oversight across cybersecurity programs including:
  • Threat Analysis & Risk Assessment (TARA)
  • Vulnerability Analysis & Penetration Testing
  • Secure Architecture & Secure SDLC
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulations such as:
  • ISO 27001, ISO 21434, IEC 62443
  • UNECE R155 / R156, GDPR, NIST, Zero Trust
• Act as escalation point for critical security issues and audits.

Client & Business Engagement

• Lead customer discussions, security assessments, and executive reviews .
• Support pre-sales, solutioning, proposals, and RFP responses .
• Partner with sales and alliances to drive revenue growth and GTM initiatives .

Practice & People Management

• Build and mentor high-performing cybersecurity teams (architects, consultants, engineers).
• Drive capability development, certifications, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition for niche skill hiring and workforce planning.

Thought Leadership

• Represent the organization in industry forums, client workshops, whitepapers, and blogs .
• Establish the company as a trusted cybersecurity advisor.

Required Skills & Expertise

Technical

• Deep expertise in:
  • Application, Product, Cloud, and OT/IoT Security
  • Security architecture and secure-by-design principles
  • Threat modeling (STRIDE, ATT\&CK), risk assessments, and compliance
• Strong understanding of automotive / embedded / industrial cybersecurity ecosystems .

Leadership & Business

• Proven experience leading large teams and global programs .
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience building practices, offerings, and P\&L responsibility is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science.
• Relevant certifications preferred:
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, ISO Lead Auditor
  • Automotive / OT security certifications (added advantage)
