Junior Accounting Business Partner- Oracle Financial Techno Functional (Oracle 11i)

Must haves:

• 5+ years of experience

• Strong experience with Oracle ERP with finance module experience.

• Need candidates who has experience with ORACLE 11i (must have)

• Ideal candidate with strong IT experience in Oracle.

• Willingness to support US Project.

Your Role:

• You are the main point of contact for the Oracle (legacy Millipore ERP) system master data globally which comprises European and North American entities.

• You are responsible for the maintenance of GL and subledger master data in compliance with internal Oracle rules and the Group Guidelines.

• You work closely with the business and IT for the implementation of regular accounting rule changes as well as for the yearly implementation of new business segmentations in collaboration with controlling.

• You are involved in the external and internal audit, and any other instance which requires extraction of transaction data or validation of the correct assignment of Oracle responsibilities.

• Your main tasks are carried out in close cooperation with the centralized accounting departments and the various Group Functions (e.g. Tax, Treasury etc.).

• In your role you will be responsible for the global Oracle scope. You will also take part in several projects aimed at gaining efficiency or improving quality in connection with Oracle or other ERP as well as other financial tools.

• Working fully independent for the creation/update/deactivation of cost centers and accounts in Oracle as a daily routine, as well as in the course of accounting changes and business hierarchy changes. Maintaining the cost center owners and sharing this information internally. Scope is global with legal entities in Europe and in the USA all sharing the same chart of accounts.

• As the owner of following responsibilities, collaborates with different team

• Supporting the delivery teams through ad-hoc Oracle non-GL master data maintenance

• Governing data integrity through Oracle table review and prompting/following up on updates to transactional data

• Managing Oracle access by approving new access and periodically reviewing existing responsibilities in collaboration with line managers

• Maintain cost center owners for Ariba to enable timely approvals in collaboration with controlling

• In collaboration with Accounting Business Partner and IT department

• Adapt Oracle master data to ensure compliance with Group Accounting guidelines from regular small updates to massive changes like for the implementation of IFRS18 as an example

• Leveraging Oracle knowledge to help users in tasks as varied as data extractions, data cleansing, account reconciliations, reporting, problem solving.

• Undertake any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by manager

• Inform managers of any observed irregularity

• Being a point of contact for TL, higher management, project teams on a daily basis etc.
