JOB DESCRIPTION
Technical Engagement Manager to lead strategic engagements with Japan-based clients. The role demands strong
expertise in program delivery, customer engagement, and engineering solutions, combined with an understanding of
Japanese business culture and expectations. The candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end delivery,
managing customer relationships, and enabling business growth while ensuring high-quality execution

REQUIRED SKILLS
Must to have (Non negotiable)
• Automotive software experience
• Japanese Native / Bilingual with very good Japanese language skills
• Understand customers project dynamics
a. Project Schedules & Changes
b. Technical specification changes
• Able to clearly communicate with Customer and make both parties understand
• Must have technical and operational negotiation capability

Good to have
• Person must be able to anticipate issues/surprises and take steps to mitigate
• Ensure customer satisfaction with actions and activities that reduce burden on customer engineers and managers
• Crisis & Risk Management – Identity project risks in advance and define mitigation plans. In case of any issues in the
project, drive the root cause analysis and solutions
• Define and Monitor project KPI’s for the assigned project. Provide and seek solutions for the deviations in the KPI’s
defined
• Inform stakeholders about all engineering changes or delays in order to adjust schedule, cost and/or specifications
• Implement countermeasures and escalate when project progress or results are unsatisfactory
• Act as a bridge/advisor for the cross-culture working and continuously propose improved working habits
• Work for the success of both customer and company.
• to have Off-Highway Domain experience

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors/ Masters in Electronics Engineering /Technology

EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 10+ years of technical experience in software development and program management.

POSITION
• The position is based in Japan reporting to Business unit in Japan/India
