Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with 3-5 years of Salesforce functional testing experience and Test Automation with Playwright. The ideal candidate should have strong Salesforce testing knowledge, Playwright automation skills, and the ability to work independently while adopting AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Functional Testing

·        Reviewing functional requirements and technical design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.

·        Identifying test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.

·        Performing system and requirement gap analysis.

·        Documenting and executing QA Test plans.

·        Identifying and documenting process improvements.

·        Designing and executing manual and automates test scripts for Salesforce application based on business requirements and technical specifications.

·        Performing Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity and Integration testing to validate application stability after deployments.

·        Identifying, replicating and reporting defects and verify defect fixes.

·        Provide clear defect reports with sufficient evidence and reproduction steps.

·        Communicating QA status to project team and management.

·        Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives

·        Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA team members.

·        Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Agile process.

Salesforce Automation Testing

·        Support automation efforts using Playwright with TypeScript.

·        Develop and maintain automated regression test scripts.

·        Execute automation test suites and analyse results.

·        Work closely with automation engineers to expand automation coverage.

·        Support automation execution in CI/CD pipelines.

·        Continuously improve automation knowledge and adopt best practices.

Must-have skills

·        Minimum 3-5 years of Salesforce testing experience, with emphasis on Sales, Service, Experience, and Marketing Cloud.

·        Strong knowledge on user setup, permissions and their process.

·        Strong understanding of different Salesforce objects and their usage.

·        Strong understanding of using different environments and test data setup based on the business and process flow needs.

·        Strong understanding on role and profile setup and need of it as per business process.

·        Good knowledge on SQL Queries.

·        Strong knowledge on Reports and Dashboards, Relationships.

·        Good knowledge on Salesforce Agent force functionalities.

·        Tools: JIRA, X-Ray, Playwright.

·        Hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation.

·        Ability to identify suitable regression test cases for automation coverage.

·        Understanding of automation frameworks, test execution, debugging, and result analysis.

·        Exposure to CI/CD-based automation execution and willingness to adopt automation best practices.

·        Strong analytical, verbal and communication skills.

·        Strong conceptual, analytical, gap analysis, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

·        Excellent in understanding the requirements, acceptance criteria and developing test cases.

·        Strong understanding of software development and bug lifecycle

·        Strong collaborative skills, ability to work efficiently with other team members to resolve problems.

·        Ability to provide effective application training to peers.

Certifications
