Who We Are Looking For:

Molex is seeking a dynamic CAD Engineer to be part of our strong Engineering Team to develop new products that we are bringing to market. You will be a part of our Connector Design Team and collaborate with our cross-functional team internationally.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent science degree
• 1-3 years of experience in CAD tools – UG NX
• Basic familiarity with PLM Systems - Teamcenter

Key Responsibilities:

• Create 3D models and 2D drawings using Siemens NX
• Develop part models, assemblies, and detailed drawings
• Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles
• Perform design modifications based on feedback from senior engineers
• Work on sheet metal, surfacing, or plastic components (depending on product)
• Ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and feasibility with CFT/Senior Engineer
• Maintain BOM (Bill of Materials) and documentation
• Collaborate with CAE, manufacturing, and quality teams
• Follow company and industry standards (ISO, ASME, etc.)
• Participate in design reviews and revisions

• CAD skills (2D and 3D), preferably in UG NX
• Good problem-solving ability
• Strong attention to detail
