Shopfloor Supervisor

Your Job

As a Shop Floor Supervisor, you will lead and develop the shop team of operators to achieve safe, efficient, and high-quality operations, aligned with business goals.

What You Will Do

·     Ensure all safety protocols and standards are followed and continuously improved.

·     Oversee daily shop operations, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation across shifts.

·     Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Tool Room, Planning, QA/QC, Maintenance, Stores) to ensure smooth operations.

·     Lead daily shift meetings and safety talk and communicate production goals and updates to the team.

·     Coach, develop, and provide feedback to team members (operators) to maximize their contribution.

·     Monitor and drive performance to meet or exceed production, quality, and cost targets.

·     Adopting a culture of continuous improvement and uphold company values.

·     Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing practices and 5S across the shop floor.

·     Handle shop floor issues proactively, including manpower gaps, quality deviations, and safety concerns.

·     Zero recordable safety incidents; proactive identification and mitigation of risks.Meet or exceed daily/weekly production targets with minimal downtime.

·     Achieve quality standards as measured by defect rates and customer feedback.

·     Demonstrate effective team leadership, as reflected in engagement and retention metrics.

·     Empower operators to identify and implement at least one process improvement per quarter.

·     Maintain accurate shift reports, production logs, and performance dashboards.

·     Ensure timely escalation and resolution of production or quality issues.
