We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Open Source Solution Engineering Manager to lead a team of solution engineers supporting open-source platforms, cloud-native technologies, and enterprise integrations. We expect you to be agile and learn new skills constantly. You are expected to be participating in all aspects of the Deployment life-cycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of cloud platform for our clients.

Additionally, understanding application development lifecycles as well practical experience in working with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools as part of the container lifecycle will be useful.

This role combines technical leadership, customer engagement, and strategic planning to drive successful adoption of open-source solutions across enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Strong background in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, Linux/open-source ecosystems, and team leadership.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of solution engineers and technical consultants.
• Design and deliver enterprise-grade solutions using open-source technologies.
• Collaborate with customers to understand technical requirements and business goals.
• Drive architecture discussions, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and solution deployments.
• Support pre-sales and post-sales technical engagements.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to influence roadmap decisions.
• Promote best practices in cloud-native architectures, DevOps, Kubernetes, Linux, and automation.
• Participate in open-source communities and encourage upstream contributions.
• Ensure high-quality technical documentation, training materials, and knowledge sharing.
• Manage project delivery timelines, technical escalations, and customer success outcomes.
• Build strategic relationships with partners, vendors, and open-source communities.

Skills/Expertise

• Minimum 10 years of experience in managing Open Source platform and service.
• Excellent leadership and customer service skills.
• Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Computer Science or related fields.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Technical Skills

10+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, or DevOps.
