IP Physical Design lead Engineer
Position Overview
NovaRays Semi is seeking a highly motivated Physical Design Engineer to contribute
to the development and delivery of world-class Analog, Mixed-Signal, and Interface IP
solutions
Key Responsibilities
 Execute the Analog IP level PD tasks, such as floorplan, Bumpout, Power Delivery and
IP integration
 Lead the IP Physical Design work with small Physical design and timing team of analog
IP
 Own and drive execution of digital partitions from Synthesys to GDS.
 Lead the execution of various signoff (timing, physical verification, EMIR, Formal
Equivalence, and Low Power Verification.)
 Drive collaboration between PD and RTL team for the partition and IP level timings
 Influence tools, flows, and overall design methodology by working with DA team
 Provide technical leadership and collaborate across teams (RTL,PD, and Analog)
Minimum Qualifications
 BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 8-10 years analog IP PD experience
 Experience on the complex mixed signal IPs,such as PCIe/UCIE/DDR
 Experience in EDA tools such as Primetime, StarRC, Design Compiler, ICC etc.
 Strong understanding of constraints generation, STA, timing optimization, and timing
closure.
 Great communication, collaboration and teamwork skills and ability to contribute to
diverse and inclusive teams.
 Proven track record of implementing designs through synthesis to GDS
