Join Koch Capabilities India as a Data Engineer and help design, develop, and deliver data pipelines and analytics solutions for Koch Industries. Our Team

The Enterprise Data and Analytics team at Georgia-Pacific focuses on creating enterprise-level data engineering solutions for operational and commercial data. We partner with businesses to develop, deploy, and manage data pipelines and analytics solutions across manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and other key areas.

What You Will Do

Design, implement, and manage large-scale ETL solutions using AWS technologies such as EventBridge, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, Redshift, and CloudWatch.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
Build and enhance data products, processes, and tools to streamline data lake implementation and analytics development.
Design, develop, and debug data pipelines to ensure seamless operations.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within data pipelines and ETL processes.
Develop scripts and tools to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related IT field.
4–5 years of experience in software development.
3–5+ years of hands-on experience designing and managing ETL solutions using AWS stack (EventBridge, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, Redshift, CloudWatch).
Strong skills in SQL, S3, AWS Glue, PySpark, Python, Lambda, Redshift, AWS IAM, Step Functions, Git, Terraform, and CI/CD.
Familiarity with SageMaker, AWS Bedrock, and building solutions using these tools.

What Will Put You Ahead

In-depth knowledge of AWS Data Service Platform.
Strong coding experience in Python and PySpark.
Experience designing ETL processes using SSIS.
Cloud Data Analytics/Engineering certification.
Exposure to MSBI stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) and Power BI.
Ability to work in shifts when required.
