Head - Global Project Management

Job Summary:

The Head of Global Project Management will lead and oversee all project management activities within our telecommunications division. This role is pivotal in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives, ultimately driving operational excellence and fostering innovation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a diverse team of project managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of global projects.
Develop and implement project management methodologies, standards, and tools to enhance project delivery and performance across the telecom sector.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project scopes, timelines, and resource requirements.
Monitor project progress through effective tracking and reporting, addressing any issues or roadblocks promptly.
Foster relationships with external partners and vendors to optimize project outcomes and leverage industry best practices.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout all project phases.

Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the telecommunications industry.
Active PMP certification with a proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects.
Strong understanding of telecom technologies, market dynamics, and trends in the industry.
Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Agile project management methodologies and frameworks.
Advanced degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to manage multi-national project teams and oversee projects in diverse geographic contexts.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks specific to the telecom industry.
