Bangalore, India
What You Will Do in Your Role
-
Provide engineering analysis services, predominately with CAE type tools to
predict current rating & thermal performance on electrical connector
systems. Typical physics to be captured are: fluid flow, heat transfer,
joule heating to predict failure modes and mechanisms in electrical
connector systems.
- Evaluate risk of meeting product performance.
-
Collaborate in providing design solutions to meet product requirements.
- Lead/support on problem-solving activities using 8D methodology.
-
Participate in correlation of high-fidelity CAE simulations to real-world
performance & make recommendations to improve simulation/test methods as
needed.
-
Lead current rating & thermal function roadmaps to deliver digital twin
capabilities for the function.
-
Develop automation of CAE processes - pre & post-processing to improve
efficiency of process, to drive design solutions using CAE tools/methods.
