Your Job
As a Analytics Engineer at Koch Capabilities, you will design, build, and
optimize scalable Business Intelligence solutions that enable data-driven
decision-making across INVISTA. You will own Power BI reporting and semantic
model design, enable business self-service through Sigma Computing, and
collaborate with data engineering teams to operationalize dbt-based
transformations—delivering accurate, performant analytics and training users
to get the most value from BI platforms.
Our Team
You will join INVISTA’s Data & Analytics team within Koch Global Service
India (KGSI), working as part of an international analytics organization.
The team partners closely with BI administrators, data engineers, and domain
analysts across manufacturing, supply chain, and corporate functions to
deliver foundational analytics solutions and increase analytics literacy
across the business.
What You Will Do

Design and develop performant Power BI reports and reusable semantic
models that translate business needs into actionable insights.

Optimize logical and physical data models (star/snowflake schemas,
semantic layers) to improve report efficiency, reliability, and
maintainability.

Enable self-service analytics by creating Sigma Computing solutions,
documentation, and user enablement programs.

Partner with Data Engineers to migrate and implement dbt-based data
transformations and integrate models with cloud data platforms (e.g.,
Snowflake).

Monitor usage, performance, and Microsoft Fabric consumption; implement
optimizations to control cost and improve responsiveness.

Produce best practices, technical documentation, and training materials to
raise analytics literacy and ensure consistent BI development standards.

Translate complex stakeholder requirements into sustainable technical
designs and support adoption through coaching and hands-on enablement.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems,
or a related field.

4+ years of hands-on experience developing Power BI reports, including
DAX and semantic data modeling
.

Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, data preparation, and
troubleshooting
.

Solid understanding of
data modeling concepts such as star schema, snowflake schema, and
semantic layers
.

Experience with, or demonstrated willingness to work on, cloud data
platforms
(e.g., Snowflake) and dbt
for data transformations.
What Will Put You Ahead

Prior experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or production analytics
environments.

Hands-on experience with Sigma Computing and Microsoft Fabric; familiarity
with SSAS/OLAP cubes.

Experience integrating data from SAP or other ERP systems.

Certifications in Power BI, Snowflake, or dbt.
-
Exposure to advanced analytics, data science, or participation in on-call
support for BI production issues
