We are seeking an experienced and visionary Frontend Lead (Web design) to lead the end-to-end design and development of our web platforms. The ideal candidate will combine strong UI/UX design capabilities with hands-on expertise in Python, Django, Flask, and React.js , along with effective team leadership skills to drive design excellence, ensure responsive and scalable web solutions, optimize web performance and accessibility, and collaborate across teams to deliver data-driven, user-focused web experiences aligned with business goals.

Our Team

Join the Web Solutions team , the digital experience arm of DSS (Datacom & Specialty Solutions) > CSBU (Copper Solutions Business Unit) , powering web-driven transformation across Cable assembly manufacturing operations. As the core web design and development team, we collaborate across the organization to deliver advanced web solutions—including web applications, dashboards, reports, data visualization platforms, and serverless applications built on Python, Django, Flask, React.js, and AWS cloud services—that track, analyze, and present critical business data to drive efficiency, statistical analysis, and innovation across our manufacturing operations and decision-making centers. What You Will Do

Lead the design and development of scalable web applications.
Develop and maintain unit, integration, and system test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications using tools such as PyTest, Jest, Playwright, and Selenium.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to web developers, ensuring best practices in design, development, testing, and performance optimization.
Develop backend services using Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.
Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using React.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Ensure performance, security, and scalability of applications.
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to development standards.
Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and implement feedback-driven improvements.
Oversee deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud integration where applicable.
Maintain documentation for architecture and development processes.
Stay updated with latest design trends, tools, and technologies.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
7-10 years of progressive experience in web application design & development.
At least 2 years in a lead role.
Proven experience leading technical teams or projects in web applications.
Strong experience with Python, Django or Flask, and React.js or Angular.
Experience with REST APIs, Fast API, and microservices.
Experience with responsive design and UI principles.
Knowledge in relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

What Will Put You Ahead

Experience with Docker / Kubernetes, TypeScript, UI/UX design tools like Figma, etc.
Knowledge of cloud platforms – AWS.
