QA Engineer

• 4 to 8 years’ experience in QA Automation role in Software Development (including framework creation, script creation, execution, review and reporting, debugging).
• Minimum 4+ years exposure to Web ,  API and Mobile native app automation testing using open-source tools.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in Test automation tools Playwright with TS/JS using the native playwright framework.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience with Appium with TS/JS as the Test Automation tool for Mobile Apps.
• Visual Studio Code and Git experience.
• Primary responsibility will be to automate API and UI Automation tasks and Functional Testing.
• Strong knowledge in SDLC, STLC, Defects Lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledgeable in Defect Management
• Ability to participate in application brain storming sessions, learn and retain application knowledge including business functionalities
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, work with limited guidance in a team environment
• Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and QA Processes

 

Additional Skills:

 

• Able to leverage Gen AI tools like GitHub copilot for automation acceleration.
• Good knowledge of Gen AI
• Proficient in using AWS cloud services
• CI/CD pipeline integration experience
• Hands-on experience on Jmeter tool and exposure to agile environment
• Understanding of performance testing.
